Melting Pot Social^® Restaurant & Bar Announces Grand Opening

The newest addition to downtown Asheville’s vibrant culinary scene is set to open next week at 74 Patton Avenue. Founded here in the heart of Asheville, Melting Pot Social Restaurant and Bar introduces a fun, playful concept that matches the city’s laid-back vibe. The grand opening ribbon-cutting is scheduled for Thursday, July 22 at 4pm.

Melting Pot Social, MeltSO® for short, will be a new whimsical dining experience with three front-and-center beverage and fondue bars welcoming every guest to sip + dip + eat. The inviting and open restaurant design is perfect for any occasion, from quick-bites to casual meet-ups to happy hour.” says Chief Curator, Dan Stone.

The menu is full of ooey-gooey cheesy goodness and inventive craft cocktails. The unique dining experience features flambéed flatbreads, a melted raclette burger and other mouthwatering handhelds like paninis, and fresh salads. The menu also has a create-your-own cheese and chocolate fondue pick sheet with savory dippers such as mini corn dogs, pickle fries, churros, macaroons, and much more.

“To pay homage to our local area, MeltSO will introduce signature cocktails like the 828 Spritz, the AVL, and the Blue Ridge Smoked Old Fashioned. We serve local craft beer on tap, and even feature Hi-Wire Bed of Nails as the beer base in our cheddar cheese fondue.” says Joyce Miles, Melting Pot Social Proprietor.

The restaurant has garage-style doors that open to the street, and cheese and chocolate fondue bars where restaurant goers can sit and watch the meltable magic happen.

Melting Pot Social will be open for dinner seven days a week, lunch Monday – Friday starting July 26th, and weekend brunch. Late night service will be added later this summer along with live, local music. Brunch and dinner will be full-service. Lunch will be offered in a fast casual setting designed for those who desire a quicker lunch experience.
